COMMON QUESTIONS

Do I need to be the chapter treasurer?

No. Any member can create a Strold account and run a drop. It's built for apparel chairs, social chairs, anyone who organizes merch — no financial officer approval required.

What if someone wants to pay with Venmo or cash?

Strold collects card payments only. This is intentional — it eliminates the tracking problem. When everything runs through one system, you always know exactly who paid and what they ordered.

Do buyers need to create an account?

No. Buyers just need your link. They enter their name, email, size, and card info. That's it — no app, no sign-up, no friction.

When do I get the money?

As soon as an order is paid, your earnings are queued for transfer to your connected bank account. You connect your bank once via Stripe — takes about two minutes — and payouts happen automatically after that.

Can I set a limit on how many orders I take?

Yes. When creating a drop you can set a total order cap, per-size caps, or both. Orders automatically stop accepting when the limit is hit.

What does it cost?
