This Privacy Policy explains how Strold collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform. We keep things simple and do not sell your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect your email address when you create a seller account (used for authentication via Supabase). When a buyer places an order, we collect their name and email address so the seller can manage fulfillment. Payment information — including card numbers and billing details — is entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout; Strold never sees or stores card numbers.

2. How We Use It

We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the platform, send sellers order notifications, allow sellers to view and manage their orders, and process payments through Stripe. We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Sharing

Buyer order details — name and email — are visible to the seller who created the drop. This is necessary for the seller to fulfill the order. Stripe processes all payments under their own Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4. Data Retention

Order records — including buyer name, email, items ordered, and payment amounts — are retained for accounting and record-keeping purposes. We retain this data for as long as reasonably necessary to satisfy tax, legal, and business obligations.

5. Cookies

Strold uses a single session cookie set by Supabase to keep seller accounts logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
