Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Strold. By accessing or using Strold, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Strold — whether as a seller creating a drop or a buyer placing an order — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Your continued use of Strold after any updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Strold is a private order collection and payment processing platform designed for Greek-life organizations. Sellers — typically chapter members or apparel chairs — create private drop pages, set item prices, and share a unique link with their chapter. Buyers access that link and pay for items. Strold handles payment processing via Stripe; it does not manufacture, warehouse, or ship any merchandise.

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller, you are responsible for setting accurate prices and item descriptions, working with your own apparel vendor to produce and deliver orders, and distributing items to buyers once they arrive. Strold is not a party to any agreement between you and your vendor or between you and your buyers. You agree not to create drops for items you do not intend to fulfill.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

All orders placed through Strold are final. Because Strold is a payment-collection layer and not the seller or the vendor, fulfillment questions — including delivery timelines, sizing issues, or missing items — should be directed to the seller who created the drop, not to Strold. By placing an order you acknowledge this.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Strold adds a 5% platform fee to the price set by the seller; buyers pay the seller's base price plus this fee at checkout. Sellers receive the base price they set, minus any applicable Stripe payment-processing fees, transferred to their connected bank account. Strold does not store card numbers or full payment details — all sensitive payment data is handled by Stripe under their terms and security standards.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use Strold to collect payment for goods you do not intend to deliver, to sell counterfeit or illegal merchandise, to misrepresent items to buyers, or to engage in any fraudulent activity. Strold reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these restrictions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Strold provides a platform for order collection and payment processing only. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, delivery, or availability of any merchandise sold through the platform. We are not responsible for disputes between sellers and buyers or between sellers and their vendors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strold's liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the platform fees actually paid to Strold in connection with the transaction giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Strold after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
